2010 Scholarship Program

QARI is pleased to announce we will award 2-3 one-year scholarships to graduating seniors attending North Quincy High School (at least one) and Quincy High School (at least one). Scholarship awards are anticipated to be between $650 and $1,000 depending on the number of awards in 2010.

Criteria for Eligibility

• Be a Quincy resident graduating from High School or a non resident graduating from a Quincy High School in 2010
• Enrolling in a university/college or a vocational training program in the summer/fall following graduation
• Have completed at least 30 hours of documented community service focused on helping members of the Asian Community

Selection Criteria

The QARI Scholarship committee, consisting of QARI volunteers and staff members will evaluate the applications based on an essay and record of achievement.

Deadline: Received on or before April 1st. Announcement of awards: May 2010.

Award recipients will attend the Quincy Asian Community Banquet on Friday, May 14 to be recognized for the award.;
